Ventures
Over the past decade I have founded three companies and been part of two acquisitions, moving between energy infrastructure, deep hardware, and applied AI as each problem demanded. It started with Nydro Energy, building physical observability for power grids across Argentina, the Gulf, and Latin America, and led to NyVind, a neuromorphic hardware startup whose IP portfolio I eventually sold to a strategic investor. In parallel I helped found OpenCoresAI, pushing efficient silicon and language model architectures, co-founded Bootcamp Argentina to teach entrepreneurship to high schoolers nationwide, and most recently led strategy and R&D at Carbo Energy on grid-scale battery storage. Each venture built on the last — the timeline below traces how one problem kept leading to the next.
Carbo Energy
2024 – 2025
AI-driven grid-scale energy storage. I led corporate strategy, R&D, and fundraising for a deep-tech infrastructure firm focused on long-duration storage solutions. We developed ML optimization models for non-aqueous redox flow battery chemistries and achieved an independently validated active material cost of $126/kWh. Secured enterprise pilots with YPF, DHL, and Total Energies. Submitted a commercial bid for Argentina's national AlmaSADI grid tender (10 MW / 120 MWh).
Bootcamp Argentina NGO
2023 – present
Gamified educational platform teaching entrepreneurship, MVP creation, and enterprise sales to high school students. Started as a way to give back to Pico Truncado, Santa Cruz—the city where I grew up—this project has scaled to 247 students nationwide within the first months of operation, and I hope to see it become a national movement. Today the barrier is no longer economic: any kid with access to AI becomes a builder. The limit is creativity, and that is extraordinary.
NyVind
2022 – 2024
Neuromorphic hardware startup based in San Francisco. I founded it, led all R&D, and managed the IP strategy for a 256-neuron memristor-based AI processor. Filed 6 patents covering resistive memory architectures and analog AI accelerators. Negotiated the sale of the full IP portfolio to a strategic investor.
OpenCoresAI
2021 – present
Founding member and Executive AI Lead. We build an AI-native execution engine for silicon design and highly efficient large language models (1.58-bit quantization). I oversee the architectural roadmap for the Hybrid Gated Flow (HGF) architecture, balancing algorithmic research with commercial viability and hardware-software co-design.
Nydro Energy
2017 – 2020
Physical observability platform for power grids. I expanded from Argentina to Saudi Arabia and the UAE, acting as a utility-scale developer across MENA (AB Power, DEWA) and LATAM (Ecopetrol). Built Nydro OS: an enterprise platform combining a pre-built utility ontology — a typed graph mapping every asset, sensor, EV charger, and battery — with an AI-native agent layer capable of complaint triage, regulatory drafting, and operator copilot functions in Spanish and English. Acquired by a strategic investor in 2021.
